Armed with a new DSL and ready to take on a photo project!

I finally am the proud owner of a DSL, I received the Cannon Rebel XTi for Christmas and now I get to learn how to use it! It is way more powerful than my simple point and shoot Kodak that I have had for the past 3 years. Joining this photo a week project will be more manageable for me than committing to a weekly DPC challenge, although I hope to get regular challenge entries in too. My theme for this year will be "Our Good Nature", stolen from the Rose Parade where my first photo will also come from, as it will give me some flexibility regarding subject matter, but still keep within an overall theme for 2007.
